Dr. Campbell-Thompson recently hosted Dr. Edward Stack from PerkinElmer who gave a seminar titled “Phenoptics: Navigating the immunological microenvironment, in situ, to uncover the hidden clues of cancer immunology.” Use of multispectral staining and image analysis was demonstrated for a variety of tumor types with immune cell phenotyping for personalized medicine. Several labs performed OPAL staining for their antigens of interest with excellent results obtained.
