Quadruple or multiplex IHC is becoming more mainstream. Shown below are islets from three species (human, rat, and pig) stained for somatostatin (SS, green), glucagon (GCG, red), insulin (Ins, blue) and pancreatic polypeptide (PP, black). This staining was done using OPAL chromogen kits given to the MPC by Biocare Medical.
