The UF Department of Medicine Electron Microscopy core will be closing Jan. 31, 2021 with the retirement of Dr. Jill Verlander, Director. Mr. Chao Chen will be joining the MPC staff and continue providing light microscopy services used in the EM Core, including polyester wax embedding, sectioning and staining (see featured image, Pham et al, JASN 2019). The MPC welcomes Chao and all EM Core users and we look forward to facilitating your research.
