Please welcome Dr. Elham Nasri as the first medical director for the Molecular Pathology Core beginning in August 2026. Dr. Elham Nasri is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology and Unit Director of Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology at the University of Florida, with a secondary appointment in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. She is a fellowship-trained and board-certified pathologist specializing in musculoskeletal pathology, with expertise in the diagnosis of a broad spectrum of bone and soft tissue disorders, ranging from non-neoplastic processes to complex benign and malignant neoplasms. Dr. Elham will facilitate establishing collaborations between faculty pathologists and researchers to ensure optimal assessments for research projects. She is an established researcher and has been a Core user for many years. She will also assist with selecting the best histological procedures including use of Digital Spatial Profiling using the Nanostring GeoMx instruments through the Core.
